Strengths:
Decent strength for a cornerback; well built. Plays a physical brand of football. Isn’t afraid to mix it up at the line of scrimmage, even with bigger receiver. Willing to help out in run support.
Weaknesses:
Missed time in 2008 with a sprained ankle. Missed time in 2010 with a broken arm. Below average ball skills; only two career interceptions. Speed is average at best; doesn’t appear to play up to his timed speed.
Comments:
First name pronouced “shockey”, as in Jeremy Shockey. Brown gets overlooked, due to sharing the field with Aaron Williams and Curtis Brown, but he too has an NFL future. His injury history and his lack of production are concerning, but he clearly has NFL skills and should be able to find a role at the next level.
