Notre Dame junior running back Cierre Wood is expected to enter the 2013 NFL draft.
Wood has announced on social media that Saturday was his final home game at Notre Dame Stadium. Woods will graduate prior to April’s draft.
Head coach Brian Kelly has been able to keep many of his draft eligible players by convincing them to stay and finish all four years. But apparently, he was not able to convince Wood to stay.
He is going to be a name many NFL teams are going to keep an eye on. However, he is going to have a tough time finding a spot behind the top running back prospects.

Notre Dame Ranked #1 and Still Marching Towards BCS Title Game as Other Top Teams Falter
As Jason Whitlock so humorously pointed out, “Indiana University is #1 in basketball, Notre Dame is #1 in football, and the Pacers stink. It’s the 1970s all over again.”
For the first time in nearly twenty years, the Fighting Irish are on top of the college football world.

NCAA Week 12: NBC’s Notre Dame Finale Earns Season-Low Overnight
NBC capped off a strong season of Notre Dame coverage with a season-low Saturday afternoon. Notre Dame Football and the ACC: I called this a year ago
Editor’s note: I originally published this on December 29th, 2011. Looks like I saw the future a few months ahead:
As Notre Dame prepares to kick off versus Florida State today in the Champs Sports Bowl, the answer to where ND fits in the long term conference expansion is becoming painfully obvious. The Irish will face their fourth ACC opponent, and look to go 4-0 in the Atlantic...

Notre Dame #1 in both polls, BCS next: I feel your hate
Like Emperor Palpatine said to Skywalker, “I feel your anger, give in to your hate.” Especially if you’re a Michigan, USC, Michigan State, Purdue, Boston College, Miami or just plain college football fan.
