The last time we saw the Clemson Tigers they were manhandled by West Virginia giving up 70 points. Saturday night at the Chik-Fil-A Classic at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta the Clemson had a second chance to make a impression nationally and took full advantage defeating Auburn 26-19. Many things went right for Clemson but it just might have been the uniforms.  Clemson wore the orange shirt – white pants combo which is automatic during the Dabo Swinney era.  Clemson is now 14-0 and that ensemble since Swinney took over as head coach. The Auburn defense couldn’t figure out how to stop Clemson running back Andre Ellington who rushed for a career high 231 yards on 26 carries. Ellington’s performance is the fifth most yards rushing in Clemson Tiger history. "There's no doubt in my mind who the best player underneath this roof was tonight - without a doubt it was Andre Ellington.”  Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris said.  “He was on a mission. Chad Morris: Clemson offense can, will be better

Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris liked just about everything he saw from his Tigers in their first game. He expects to see much more as the season goes on. Morris, the second-year assistant, said No. 14 Clemson's 26-19 victory over Auburn this past Saturday night was nothing more than a strong start to a long season that continues this week with the team's home...

Clemson answers questions with win over Auburn

Let me go all Clemson fan on you for a minute. I have this Clemson shirt with a Danny Ford signature. My wife and I gave it to my Father in Law but it was too big for him. I ended up with the shirt and now the shirt has gone 9-0 in Clemson events I’ve attended. This includes wins last year over Auburn, FSU, and Virginia Tech in the ACC Title game. There was also an upset win over...

Sammy who? Andre Ellington and DeAndre Hopkins made sure Clemson didn't miss its star receiver. With Sammy Watkins back home serving a two-game suspension for a drug arrest, the No. 14 Tigers still showed plenty of offense in their opener Saturday night. Ellington rushed for 231 yards, while Hopkins set a school record with 13 receptions, including the game-winning touchdown...
