It’s been a couple of months since we’ve had any update on the University of Miami scandal that was revealed in late 2011. Louisville assistant football coach Clint Hurtt is currently on administrative leave, due to his alleged involvement. Prior to joining Charlie Strong’s staff at Louisville, Hurtt was the recruiting coordinator for Miami and was allegedly involved in multiple NCAA violations. The official notice of allegations that was sent to the University of Louisville accused Hurtt of receiving and providing impermissible benefits and unethical conduct for providing false and misleading information during the 23-month investigation. According to Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald, Hurtt and fellow former Miami assistant Aubrey Hill had a hearing in with the NCAA committee on infractions last Friday in Indianapolis. No details from this hearing have been made public just yet. An official verdict is due in August. Fortunately for Hurtt, some of the things he was initially accuse...

Elbert Robinson, a 6-foot-10, 265-pound, prospect from Garland, TX., is one of the very few big men in the 2014 class that is being actively pursued by Rick Pitino and his staff. At the NBAPA top 100 camp last week Robinson showed that...

Rick Pitino is the man — not only did the Louisville head basketball coach, you know, win a national championship this year, but he’s also having an incredible off-season. First, he had his horse race in the Kentucky Derby, then he caught an 80-pound Marlin in the Bahamas, and then Maker’s Mark created a commemorative bottle that features a nice picture of his face. What could...

The Cardinals committed four errors as the sloppy play extended innings and gave the Beavers the opportunity to put up lopsided numbers. OSU snapped...
