WEEK 3Start 'Em, Sit 'Em - QBsStart 'Em, Sit 'Em - RBsStart 'Em, Sit 'Em - WRsAnother season of college football has arrived! Each week, the CFG staff will chime in with their start-sit recommendations. Pay attention as these guys know their stuff.*Note: At CFG we strive to provide a variety of expert opinions.  Some may contradict each other, or our FFCPI, and we're cool with that. Our goal is to give you as much info as possible so that you can form your own final lineup decisions.  START 'EMJameis Winston - FSU vs. NevadaWinston was phenomenal in his debut against Pittsburgh in Week One. He accounted for 381 total yards and five total touchdowns. His encore performance could be just as impressive against Nevada. Sit back and enjoy the show.STAFF PICK - KEVIN MOUNT      Terrance Owens – Toledo vs. Eastern WashingtonThis game could be an absolute shoot-out with both teams possessing potent offenses. This Eastern Washington squad is no joke…just ask Oregon State. Owens could easily torch Eastern Washington for well over 300 yards through the air and add a few scores. There could be plenty of fireworks in Greenville on Saturday night.STAFF PICK - KEVIN MOUNT          Connor Wood – Colorado vs. Fresno StateI secretly wondered this offseason if Wood could be a solid fantasy sleeper but like most of us I didn’t have the “cojones” to draft him. He’s thrown for 741 yards and six touchdowns against less than stellar opponents. But so far Fresno’s defense has not been as formidable as year’s past. This looks like an excellent opportunity to let Wood continue to ride his hot streak.STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASITravis Wilson – Utah vs. Oregon StateThe effectiveness of the Utah passing game has flown under the radar for many fantasy owners. In two games Wilson has put up 566 passing yards, 5 passing scores, 102 rushing yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns. Oregon State is giving up an average of 309 passing yards per game in 2013. Look for the Utes to go to the air early and often in this home contest.STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASIConnor Wood-Colorado vs. Fresno StateWood is averaging 370 passing yards and three touchdowns over his first two games. He gets a great matchup against a Fresno State defense that gave up 543 total yards to Rutgers and 416 total yards to Cal Poly. Wood should continue to put up big numbers making him and his top wide receiver, Paul Richardson, both great plays this week.STAFF PICK – RYAN MOSSTravis Wilson Utah vs. Oregon StateWilson leads the Utes against Oregon State in what should be a high scoring shootout. Both teams have a lot of offensive firepower and shouldn’t face too much resistance from the defenses. Wilson has had a very good season so far and makes for a solid bye week fill in this week.STAFF PICK – RYAN MOSSSIT 'EMJW Walsh –Oklahoma State vs. LamarWalsh has locked down the starting QB job and was awesome last week against UTSA with 326 yards passing and five total scores. His numbers may be limited this week simply because of the opponent. He may only play two quarters versus Lamar.STAFF PICK – KEVIN MOUNT         Cody Fajardo – Nevada vs. Florida StateIt is not often that Fajardo makes the Sit list, but this is one of those rare occasions. The Nevada offense is not what it used to be, he's banged up, and he will be facing a stout FSU defense. Fajardo and the Wolf Pack could be in for a long, long day.STAFF PICK - KEVIN MOUNT         Austyn Carta-Samuels – Vanderbilt at South CarolinaSamuels is off to a solid start this season averaging 29 completions for 261.5 passing yards and 2.5 total touchdowns a game. Look for South Carolina to play with their hair on fire after their disappointing loss to Georgia last week. This could be a very long game for the Commodores this week.STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASI        Shane Carden – East Carolina vs. Virginia TechNormally you would obviously sit a small school passer against a BCS AQ school. But so far this season Carden has looked very good and the Hokie defense has not. While some owners may be looking for “garbage time” points or even an East Carolina upset, try to avoid this line of thinking and find another option for your QB2.STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASI   Kevin Hogan- Stanford vs. ArmyEven though Hogan has a great matchup this week against Army there are two reasons why he should stay on your bench. First, Stanford looks to be a run first team so Hogan doesn’t need to do any heavy lifting. Additionally, Stanford should dominate Army and Hogan likely won’t play the whole game.STAFF PICK – RYAN MOSS Shane Carden – ECU vs. Virginia TechAfter opening the season with close to 450 passing yards and five touchdowns, Carden’s numbers decreased drastically in week two. Against FAU, he threw for less than 200 yards and two touchdowns. Things won’t be easy this week against Virginia Tech, so it’s smart to look for other quarterback options.STAFF PICK – RYAN MOSS
