Holy Toledo there were some fantasy points scored last week! May the Fantasy Gods be so kind to bless our line-ups with more West Virginia-Baylor type of performances.

Check out the other week 6 Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em articles for RBs and WRs right here (COMING SOON).

Start ‘Em:

Colby Cameron – Louisiana Tech vs. UNLV
Cameron is averaging 26 fantasy points a game and UNLV is giving up 2.5 passing touchdowns a game. This should be a very nice setting for Cameron to keep rolling along.
STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASI. TODD DEVRIES

B.J. Daniels- USF vs. Temple
Daniels and the Bulls are coming off a lopsided loss to Florida State and what better way to get over it then shellacking Temple.  Daniels has been growing as a passer (mostly due to the fact that Skip Holtz is finally letting him run) and he should do damage with both his legs and his arms in this game.
STAFF PICK – ERIK TJADEN

Marcus Mariota – Oregon vs. Washington
I am officially not a Homer. Huskies had a big win, but this is the week the Ducks bring them back down to Earth. Beating a young Stanford team is one thing, beating the second best team in the country is something else. Look for plenty of scoring by the Ducks in this one.
STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASI

Denard Robinson – Michigan vs. Purdue
Robinson had an awful performance his last time out against Notre Dame. The real “Denard” should be on full display this week against a Purdue defense that allows plenty of big plays. Robinson could easily top 300 total yards and 4 total scores this week.
STAFF PICK - KEVIN MOUNT

David Ash – Texas vs. West Virginia
In case you haven’t notice, the Mountaineers can’t defend the pass. Rahkeem Cato threw for 413 yards against them in the opener, some dude named Perry Hills (Maryland) was able to throw for 305 yards and 3 scores, and you all know how Nick Florence torched them last week.  I'm not a huge Ash fan, but if you’re in a BCS-only league, he sure looks like a strong play this week.
STAFF PICK – TODD DEVRIES

Brett Smith – Wyoming vs. Nevada
Smith threw for 365 yards and five scores in his last outing against Idaho. He could put up similar number this week against a Nevada pass defense that ranks 96th in the country.
STAFF PICK - KEVIN MOUNT

Tyler Van Tubbergen- Western Michigan vs. UMass
With Alex Carder out indefinitely, Tubbergen is a good play for two reasons: the Minutemen have been floundering on defense and Tubbergen is likely available to pick up.  This is a solid one-week play that could be the spark plug your team needs to keep running.
STAFF PICK - ERIK TJADEN

Sit ‘Em:

Zac Dysert – Miami, OH at Cincinnati
Most people around the country don’t realize how heated the rivalry is between Cincinnati and Miami. Dysert got going last week but he has a terrible history against the Bearcats. The last three seasons he has scored a COMBINED 25 fantasy points.
STAFF PICK - JOE ARPASI

Taysom Hill- BYU vs. Utah State
Not only is the quarterback situation muddied in Provo as to whether or not Riley Nelson will reclaim his starting job but they also face a good Utah State defense led by former Utah defensive coordinator Gary Andersen.  Both of those factors are good enough reasons to sit this talented freshman.
STAFF PICK – ERIK TJADEN

Landry Jones – Oklahoma vs. Texas Tech
Jones has yet to top 300 yards passing in a game and that could continue against Texas Tech. The Red Raiders come in with the #1 ranked pass defense in all of college football. It could be a long day for the “Stash”.
STAFF PICK – KEVIN MOUNT

Stephen Morris- Miami vs. Notre Dame
Morris is probably still dreaming about his gargantuan performance against NC State but he will have a harsh awakening when he arrives at Soldier Field in front of droves of Irish fans.  The Irish defensive line will pummel the ‘Canes all night making anything close to a repeat performance, impossible.
STAFF PICK – ERIK TJADEN, TODD DEVRIES

Matt Scott – Arizona at Stanford
This pick has more to do with Stanford bouncing back after a disappointing road loss than it does about Scott’s play. Look for Stanford to play one of its best games of the season, and look for that tough defensive line to get after Scott.
STAFF PICK - JOE ARPASI

Keith Wenning – Ball State vs. Northern Illinois
Wenning went ballistic last week, throwing for 445 yards and five scores against Kent State. Things figure to get much tougher this week against Northern Illinois. Sit Wenning until the match up is right.
STAFF PICK - KEVIN MOUNT

Week 5 Start Pick Accuracy

1.     Kevin Mount – 43.0 FFP
2.     Todd Devries – 37.0 FFP
3.     Erik Tjaden – 5.0 FFP

Week 5 Sit Pick Accuracy

1.     Todd Devries  – 10.0 FFP
2.     Erik Tjaden – 14.5 FFP
3.     Kevin Mount – 16.5 FFP
