Despite and embarrassing loss in the Orange Bowl, the Clemson Tigers are still one of the top ranked teams for the 2012 recruiting season. Clemson should start the season with a top-25 ranking in the polls after a 10 win season. Now concentration has fully turned to the 2012 recruiting season as Clemson already has 20 signings. Six of them land in the top 150 according to ESPNU, along with 9 four-star and 10 three-star players. Their top recruit is Travis Blanks, a 6’1 safety out of North Florida Christian. According to Scout.com, Travis Blanks finished his junior season with 104 tackles and four interceptions. Offensively, he had 35 receptions for 356 yards and eight touchdowns. He also returned two punts for scores. He says he can bench 290-pounds, squat 335 and has a 33-inch vertical jump...
