University of Houston’s newest member of the NFL, quarterback Case Keenum, may be remembered as the man who put the Cougars on the map. The Cougars finished the regular season 12-0 as they set a new school record for wins. It was the first undefeated and untied regular season in their 66-year history. The Cougars would lose to Southern Mississippi in the 2011 Conference USA Championship game and if they had won, they would have earned their first ever BCS berth.
