Last week I went 1-3 with my lone victory coming with Northern Illinois upsetting Iowa on the road, as I said they would. Too bad those other teams couldn't follow the script. Hey, a little help over here!

On to this weeks picks.

South Alabama at Tulane

Tulane is favored by 6.5 at home versus a team that's coming off a loss to Southern Utah (who?) at home. Yikes! Tulane is coming off some pretty rough sledding, but coach Curtis Johnson is only in his second year. 6.5 points? Come on!
PICK: TULANE

UL Lafayette at Kansas State

The Cajuns are giving up 11 points to the Wildcats. Both teams are coming off eggs, with KSU losing to North Dakota State and ULL coming off a more respectable loss to Arkansas. I say respectable simply due to the fact that it was Arkansas they lost to, albeit by 20 points versus a 10.5 spread. Both teams need something to build on. For Bill Snyder's sake, I hope last week as an aberration.
PICK: KANSAS STATE

Sam Houston State at Texas A&M

Barring any overnight developments, or excessive partying, Johnny Manziel is starting tomorrow for the Aggies, who are favored by 37. The Un-Apology tour continues as Manziel and Co. put up a big number against the Bearkats. This line started as high as 46.5 and has come back to where I feel the Aggies should cover. Now, their defense just needs to play better than it did last week, or the future lines should be a bit softer. Of course, the flip side of this is that Vegas is hoping for a big number knowing that the Aggies D is going to allow plenty of points, thus this being a sucker bet and a money maker for the books. Stay tuned.
PICK: TEXAS A&M

Texas at BYU

The Longhorns are favored by 7 on the road. It wasn't until Texas was trailing New Mexico State last week that they finally got serious about football and went on to outscore them 56-0. BYU lost their opening game 16-19 at Virginia. It's going to be a raucous crowd, but expect the Longhorns to continue to put points on the board.
PICK: TEXAS

Notre Dame at Michigan

The game of the week outside of the SEC. The Wolverines are favored by 4, in other words, the lines makers expect this to be decided by between two field goals. The line has floated between 3 and 4.5 in most places, so no major moves. I do think Michigan is underrated and could surprise the Irish in the Big House.
PICK: MICHIGAN

Let's hope for the sake of my fake money  that there is considerable improvement over last week's performance. Cheers!
