Damion Copeland was an unknown quantity coming into this season but he quickly became indispensable. Louisville’s 33-23 win over Florida would not have been complete without another Teddy Bridgewater touchdown completion to Damion Copeland, one of the most steady wide receivers this season. Copeland, a red shirt junior from Bradenton, Fla., was Bridgewater’s favorite targets during an extraordinary season. While he scored only two touchdowns, he set up numerous scoring opportunities during an 11-2 season. He was, in fact, the team’s leading receiver, making a total of 50 receptions for 628 yards. His favorite will always be the first play eight seconds into the second half when he pulled down a 19-yarder in the end zone, putting his team ahead 30-10.
