Buffalo took advance of a great chance to add a starting tackle or guard to the their team today and only had to use pick the 41st overall in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft today. Glenn was projected to go in the top 25 and fell all the way to Buffalo at 41. He has awesome blocking skills with a huge frame, standing 6' 5 and weighing 345 pounds a great body build for an NFL tackle.
Glenn started over 50 games in his college career at Georgia playing in the best conference in the country. I really like his versatility, he has played both left and right guard spots as well as left tackle. He's really a wide load and a big physical player. I like him to come in and start right away for them this season.

Bills Select Georgia OT Cordy Glenn (Rd.2, No.41)
With the 41st overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Bills select Cordy Glenn, OT (Georgia). Glenn is an athletic big man who is fluid when pulling and gets upfield with ease. He is an effective mirror blocker who shows good technique by sitting into his base and controlling defenders. He is aware of stunts and blitzes and usually picks them up with ease. He is a big body who has...
Q&A about Cordy Glenn
Same thing as what we did with Stephon Gilmore, we do it with Cordy Glenn. I reached out to the boys who cover Georgia at Leather Helmet Blog to talk Glenn. The writers are high on Glenn, but they don't exactly think he's a tackle.
1) What are his pros and weaknesses? Let's start with weaknesses. Cordy has issues with outside speed rushers. He is not fast/agile...
3 Rounds - 1 Dawg
When a number of draft eligible players decided to return to UGA for the 2012 season, Georgia was left underrepresented in this year's draft. Through the first three rounds only guard/tackle Cordy Glenn has been selected.
Georgia has always been a prolific producer of NFL talent, but it appears that this year is going to be a down year for the Dawgs. With that being...
Buffalo Bills draft OL Cordy Glenn with 41st pick
The Buffalo Bills have turned their attention to addressing offensive needs in a big way by selecting mammoth Georgia offensive lineman Cordy Glenn in the second round of the NFL draft on Friday.
Picked 41st overall, the 6-foot-5, 348-pound player has experience playing both guard and tackle, and will be given the chance to fill Buffalo's immediate need at left tackle. The Bills...
Georgia DL John Jenkin Is a Big Baby
This picture is award winning, in my humble opinion. There is nothing that screams Pulitzer like a 351-pound Georgia defensive lineman sleeping while sucking his thumb. Tavarres King, a wide receiver also on Georgia, Tweeted this pic of his teammate which is so incredibly hard to not laugh at. If I were Tavarres I would be afraid to sleep for the rest of my life.

Can Georgia RTDB?
Coach Richt seems to be getting the fan base prepared for the possibility that the offensive line may not be able to provide running lanes at the start of the year.
“How balanced will we be? I don’t know,” Georgia coach Mark Richt told the Lake Country Bulldog Club this week .”We’d love to run the football. We want to run the football. Sometimes it’s easier to...
Bengals Select Georgia TE Orson Charles (Rd.4, No. 116)
With the 116th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Bengals select Georgia TE Orson Charles. Charles is a big, athletic and flexible tight end. He has decent size and runs pretty well. He was a regular starter the last two years and had over 500 yards receiving as a junior. He is capable of blocking on the line immediately and is a very reliable short-yardage pass-catcher. If...
Draft in-depth: Kicker Blair Walsh
The Vikings used their sixth-round pick on a kicker, Blair Walsh of Georgia.
Vikings Select Georgia PK Blair Walsh (Rd.6, No.175)
With the 175th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Vikings select Blair Walsh, K (Georgia). Big-legged kickoff specialist coming off a disappointing senior season. Drives his kicks, gets hang time and easily puts kicks through the end zone. Drives field goals across the field from long distance. Marginal consistency on field goals. Possesses a big leg yet misses a lot of makeable...
Twitpic of the Day
Georgia WR Tavarres King is either very brave, very fast, or very stupid. Recently he uploaded a picture to Twitter of teammate John Jenkins sleeping while sucking on his thumb. Check out the tweet and pic below.
Jenkins is a 6’3, 353 pounds. For Tavarres King’s sake, let’s hope that the junior defensive tackle is as harmless awake as he appears to be while asleep.

LSU Baseball vs. UGA - Knowing The Enemy
Kevin Gausman
LSU returns home this weekend to Alex Box Stadium to face the Georgia Bulldogs after dropping a series in Lexington a week ago. The Tigers are still in great shape in the SEC standings, sitting at 12-6 and just one game back of Kentucky. However, Florida and South Carolina are both on their heels with 11-7 marks. With the second half of conference...
Buffalo Bills Upgrade Offense On Day 2 Of Draft
Two more rounds in the books and Buffalo just continues to diligently address their needs with quality in the 2012 Draft. After taking the soft-spoken, yet tenacious Stephon Gilmore to shore up the defense, Buddy Nix and the Bills turned to offense in the second and third rounds, giving their "franchise" quarterback first some protection, then some speed on the outside...
