Cowboys might want to leave the roof open Sunday against Atlanta

The Cowboys haven't said this week whether the roof at Cowboys Stadium on Sunday will be open or closed for the Atlanta game. Sunday's forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms. The team, however, might want to leave it open come rain or shine because the Falcons are 11-2 in indoor games under second-year coach Mike Smith and 4-4 in outdoor games. Another trend to consider: The Falcons are 8-0 under Smith when they win the turnover battle. The Cowboys have struggled to force turnovers this season and rank 27th in the NFL this year in turnover ratio at minus-4. The Falcons are plus-5.
