Some Penn State fans will continue to act oblivious to what Joe Paterno did or shall we say did NOT do during Sandusky’s time being associated with the school. Since the statue was taken down earlier this year it has caused a lot of them to be angry believing it was an unwarranted action.

Today with the Nittany Lions starting their new regime under Bill O’Brien some of those fans still wanted to pay respect to Joe Pa which resulted in them creating their own cut out of the former legend which was located outside Beaver Stadium check it out:

It didn’t stop there either as ex Nitanny Lion Franco Harris has been adamant in wanting Paterno to receive due process for all the accusations put forth on him since the Sandusky scandal became public had a sign of his own in his press box:

These fans and Harris are disgusting and make me still want to puke as my thoughts on Joe Pa in the entire Sandusky scandal have not changed. What don’t they understand? He had the most power out of any person in that school and had the authority to do whatever he wanted. He decided to look the other way and not investigate because he was more concerned about his own legacy of breaking the record for most wins as a coach. Knowing that if he did the right for society at an earlier date he probably would have been let go from his position not giving him the opportunity to break that record.

How people do not see it that way with the overwhelming amount of evidence pointing that way is baffling? How people care more about football victories then a young child’s life is disturbing. Everyone who has a Joe Pa cut out statue clearly does not believe he did anything wrong otherwise why would they go to such great lengths to create them? Face it the guy screwed up don’t give him any respect, he didn’t respect society and young children enough to warrant this love after what we know today.

Franco Harris has Joe Paterno cutout

The guy on the left is a conservative talk show host named John Ziegler. The guy on the right looking like a slob is Steelers legend Franco Harris. Both men think Joe Paterno was unjustly treated by the NCAA. Ziegler, once fired from a sportscasting job for on O.J. Simpson joke, is from Pennsylvania and ended up in the Harris box at today’s Ohio U. game. For some reason both...

Franco Harris brings Joe Paterno cardboard cutout to Penn State football game (Video)

Penn State alumnus (and NFL Hall of Famer) Franco Harris brought a cardboard cutout of Joe Paterno to his luxury box at Beaver Stadium for Saturday's PSU football game against Ohio. The Paterno cutout held a sign reading "Due Process for PSU JVP". We understand Harris' loyalty to his college coach, and he's entitled to express his opinion, but the...

Paterno's widow attends PSU opener

The widow of the late Joe Paterno has arrived at Beaver Stadium for Penn State's season opener against Ohio. Sue Paterno and a family member arrived about 15 minutes before kickoff and came in through an employee entrance. It's the first game at Penn State without a Paterno on the coaching staff since 1949. Joe Paterno started as an assistant in 1950 before being promoted...

The New Joe Paterno Memorial Outside Beaver Stadium Is Rather Sad

Penn State plays a football game today without Joe Paterno or his statue outside Beaver Stadium. You know the story and you had to figure fans wouldn’t forget their hero. It’s just that we didn’t figure the fans would remember with an impromptu memorial featuring a Paterno bobblehead and some flowers. But there it was this morning. Never forget, Penn State, never forget. ...

Franco Harris has Joe Paterno cut-out in his private box (Picture)

Before the start of Penn State/University of Ohio college football game, I assumed that someone would bring a cut-out of former head coach Joe Paterno into the stadium but I didn't think it would be seen with former Penn State great Franco Harris. Check out the below picture of Franco with the cut-out and the shot of the cut-out from his private box: For those of...

Former Penn State and NFL fullback Franco Harris was in attendance this past Saturday to watch the Bill O’Brien era debut to a thud when the Nittany Lions lost to Ohio 24-14 from Beaver Stadium. When Will Franco Harris Just Let This Joe Paterno Thing Go?

I know your life and career is signified by one magical “immaculate reception” that pulled victory out of certain defeat but Franco Harris just let this one go.  Its over. The former Penn State running back as taken the main(solo) defender position of Joe Paterno to the extreme by placing a cardboard cutout of Paterno holding a sign “Due Process for PSU JVP” in his box...

Penn State Falls to Ohio University: The Post Paterno Era Off to a Slow Start

A lot of eyes were focused State College, Pennsylvania and Penn State on Saturday, as the Nittany Lions opened the team’s first season in nearly 50 years without Joe Paterno as head coach. Even more though than the absence of Paterno, most want to know how the school would fare under the weight of some of the most serious sanctions ever levied against a major college football program...

Season of change arrives for Penn State football

Once the model of stability, Penn State football has been thrust into a rebuilding project unlike any other. So many changes in such a short time. Scandal led to the ouster of Hall of Fame coach Joe Paterno after 46 seasons and his replacement by Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien. That, in itself, would have been enough to get people talking in Happy Valley. Now...

Can we please just ignore Penn State?

Most everyone I know delighted in the fact that Penn State lost to Ohio from the MAC on Saturday. Serves them right, was the chorus from people rightfully outraged by Penn State’s scandal. Most right minded people recognize that Jerry Sandusky was the original doer of evil, while Joe Paterno, the Penn State faculty and the pervasive religion of Penn State football made the scandal...

Penn State will go as far as D’s front seven takes them

There’s been so much ******** surrounding Penn State this offseason that we could put out a season preview that’s longer than a Joe Posnanski book. This will be the first time in 62 years that the Nittany Lions won’t start the season with Joe Paterno on the sidelines. The Lions lost their best player on entire offense when Silas Redd headed to USC. They lost Plan B when...
