Clemson Tigers head football coach Dabo Swinney celebrated his team's 25-24 come-from-behind victory in the Chick-fil-A Bowl on New Year's Eve by picking up ESPN reporter Jeannine Edwards and giving her a big hug.
Swinney was clearly excited after Clemson won the game by kicking a field goal as time expired, and Edwards had positioned herself behind Swinney for a postgame interview as he exchanged postgame pleasantries with LSU coach Les Miles. Edwards couldn't help but laugh from being caught by surprise when Swinney turned around and lifted her up in the air while hugging her.
Edwards admitted it was the first time she ever had a head coach pick her up in the air and hug her like that. As we certainly don't see this happen every day, Edwards shouldn't have to worry about this happening again anytime soon.

Chandler Catanzaro kicked a 37-yard field goal as time expired to give No. 14 Clemson a wild 25-24 win over No. 9 Louisiana State in the Chick-fil-A Bowl on Monday night.
Trailing 24-22, Clemson (11-2) took possession on its 20 with 1:39 remaining. Tajh Boyd completed a pass for 26 yards to DeAndre Hopkins on a fourth-and-16 play during the decisive 10-play drive.
Clemson Tiger wide receiver Sammy Watkins that is Clemson’s most dynamic player was forced to be carted off the field by a hit by an LSU Tiger. Watkins was obviously emotional over the event and had a towel over his head while be carted off the field. Who can blame the kid? The guy has heart. Tajh Boyd has been getting abused by LSU’s defense and Barkevious Mingo especially.
