Shirts With Random Triangles:
Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson is still dealing with an right elbow injury that kept him out of the Wolverines' overtime win over Northwestern last Saturday. His availability for the Wolverines' senior day game against Iowa this Saturday is still up in the air. Michigan head football coach isn't ruling out Robinson making at least a brief appearance in the game, though.
“That would be something I would think about,” Hoke said. “But to be
honest with you, the seniors and the guys and the people who are truly
Michigan fans, I think they understand the significance he’s had.”
He also didn’t rule out using Robinson at a position other than
quarterback, saying, “I don’t know. The health of him and all those
things are the things we’re concerned about.”
The decision to play a still-injured Robinson this Saturday may come down to whether or not it could interfere with the healing process enough to endanger his availability for next week'...

The topic of Michigan's quarterback situation is a catch-22 for sportswriters and bloggers. If you don't call it a "quarterback controversy", which it isn't, then what do you call it? We desperately want to label things. If you label it as anything else, like a "situation" or an "issue", does that make it less interesting? Because I find...
Devin Gardner has done a pretty admirable job filling in at quarterback for Denard Robinson the past couple weeks. This was supposed to be the last warmup for Michigan -- an easy game against Iowa before a shot at the three-game package that's now the goal of every Wolverines season: Ohio State, the Big Ten Championship Game and the Rose Bowl.
That all changed when Denard Robinson got hurt against Nebraska and Russell Bellomy imploded. Now, even though the Wolverines are tied for first in...
