Denard Robinson has been one of the most intriguing NFL prospects this offseason.  He is one of the few quarterback prospects in the history of the NFL that has been completely and 100% willing to change positions in order to somehow make it to the NFL. From what it sounded like, he did well during his press conference and during his interview after his day at the Combine had been completed.  Unfortunately for Denard, his 40-yard-dash time wasn’t great, and he didn’t seem too thrilled with his vertical jump.  When he was told his unofficial 4.34 forty had been changed to an official 4.43, he said that he wasn’t happy and that he is supposed to be faster than that.  His Pro Day has now become very important.   His vertical jump was pretty solid, he posted a 36.5 inch vertical and his broad jump was a solid 10’3″.  His three cone drill time was not very good, clocking in at 7.09 but posted a pretty solid 20 yard shuttle of a 4.22; Denard didn’t bench press because of his elbow. Denard Runs a 4.43 40-Yard Dash at NFL Combine

2012 media day. The NFL combine can be a bit boring at times. Michigan's Denard Robinson Clocked At 4.43 Seconds In 40-Yard Dash At NFL Combine

Robinson trying to catch on at Combine

He wasnt the fastest, but he was fast. Michigans Denard Robinson, a converted quarterback, finished tied for the seventh-best 40-yard dash time, 4.43 seconds, among receivers Sunday at the NFL Draft Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. More importantly, he showed he can catch the football, even if his form needs some work. "I think what he did today was he helped himself,"...

NCAA Football 14 cover: Denard Robinson vs. Ryan Swope

And then there were two men standing. EA Sports announced yesterday that the cover vote for NCAA Football 14 had officially been trimmed down to two players, Michigan's Denard Robinson and Texas A&M's Ryan Swope. Robinson always appeared to be one of the favorites for the cover despite his lack of production under center, but A&M's Swope is proving that the...
