It's the Dennis Dixon Show tonight as Oregon travels to Tucson to take on Arizona.
This could be the most important game in Dixon's quest for the Heisman as this is his first contest since taking over the lead in the race. Added to the pressure of keeping Oregon at No. 2 is the intense glare of the Heisman spotlight. After all, the game will be nationally televised and a ton of Heisman voters are likely to tune in. With a big game, he could really take control of the race. Or, with a bad game, he could muff it.
What does he need to do to hold off a surging Tim Tebow?
Well, obviously, the Ducks need to win. That's a given. A loss would be devastating to Dixon's Heisman hopes.
Otherwise, yards aren't hugely important, though I think having a high completion percentage while accumulating at least 180 yards with a minimum of two touchdown passes and no more than one pick will keep him copacetic in the eyes of voters. If he can throw for over 200 ...
