Duke has two quarterbacks already on the roster, redshirt junior Anthony Boone and redshirt freshman Thomas Sirk. Replacing graduating senior Sean Renfree will not be an easy task, but Boone has starting experience as he led the team to a victory over Virginia this year when he was out with an injury. There are high hopes for Sirk around the program and he will push for playing time behind Boone. Brandon Connette will lineup at QB in the wildcat formation from time to time but plays multiple positions and will likely play less QB with dual threats Boone and Sirk under center.
There is some question whether Chambers will play QB at Duke, but if you watch his highlights below he is quite the talent. Could he end up like Connette, playing multiple positions? Barring injuries, we probably won’t see for a 2-3 years. Boehme is considered a pure passer by ESPN, but he is clearly a threat to run. With Boone and Sirk having a lockdown on the position for anywhere from 2-4 years, it will be s...

David Cutcliffe has long been known as a quarterbacks guru, and his offense while at Duke has reflected that talent at developing passers. While the team had a 55/45 pass-run split in plays called last year, the Blue Devils gained 75% of their yards on passing plays. The only team in the nation last year to have three receivers with over 60 catches in Jamison Crowder, Desmond Scott...
Mike Krzyzewski didnt really implement major changes in his basketball teams approach until after it played a couple of games without senior forward Ryan Kelly.
The coach wanted to see what his team looked like with Josh Hairston and then Amile Jefferson starting in Kellys spot in the lineup and exactly what his teams new weaknesses and strengths were. Like any good manager, Krzyzewski...
WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- Duke escaped Joel Coliseum with a narrow victory Wednesday night, averting what would have been a damaging and somewhat embarrassing defeat.
Losing at Wake Forest isnt the shame it was the last couple of seasons. After all, Xavier, Virginia and North Carolina State have fallen here over the last month.
But fifth-ranked Duke is a different animal, even if the...

Mason Plumlee had a career night to help the Blue Devils improve to 5-2 in ACC play and 18-2 overall.
Duke’s struggles since Ryan Kelly went down to injury are well documented. Everyone has basically admitted that this isn’t the same team without its 6-foot-11 stretch four and they clearly aren’t.
Duke continues to search for consistency as Ryan Kelly’s return remains the center of attention
Growing pains were and are to an extent, still to be expected but just when...

Quinn Cook: Can He Lead The Duke Blue Devils To A Championship?
At the beginning of this season, the Duke Blue Devils did not have a legitimate starting point guard. There were several games where Tyler Thornton started at the point guard position. However, after several stellar performances, the job was turned over to sophomore guard, Quinn Cook. Cook has gradually...
