Dwayne Beckford Arrested for Drunk Driving on December 16th

Dwayne Beckford is perhaps the Boilermakers’ most physically talented linebacker. He looks like he’s made of steel and the junior had 90 tackles, 3 sacks, and one interception this season. However, Dwayne Beckford may not be a part of the Purdue football team after his latest run-in with the law. Beckford was arrested at 3:57 a.m. on Friday morning for suspicion of driving a vehicle while intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was .14, which is well over the .08 legal limit. This isn’t his first time in trouble, though. He was ejected from the Iowa game for throwing a punch at the end of the loss to the Hawkeyes. In addition, he was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in July and cited for a hit and run of a parked car in June. Could this be the last straw for Beckford?
