Mathieu — who was recently charged with marijuana possession and who previously had been kicked off the LSU football team after failing multiple drug tests — has moved into the Peterson family’s South Florida home as he decides if he’ll enter the NFL draft.

It is finally here the 2012 Mount Everett of college football weekends. It originally was suppose to pit the top four teams in the country with the winners setting up the National Championship games, but LSU could not move the ball in their loss at the Swamp to Florida and USC lost two games, one to Stanford after their start center Khaled Holmes and then last week got beaten by...
It’s funny that ESPN didn’t catch this, but congrats to the LSU fans who pulled this off. Related Posts LSU fans troll Alabama with website URL LSU fans thank Jarrett Lee with an ad in Baton Rouge paper Gameday signs and Corso’s pick is Tennessee [Gallery]
It’s a lovely convenience when you can get in your Friday afternoon 18 and still be able to exhibit the appropriate levels of hate for your weekend football opponent. Well, The Caddy Shack in Baton rouge offers just such a luxury…by sticking an 8 foot tall (he wishes) Nick Saban on their driving range, that, by the looks of the damage, is nothing but an appropriately timed...
Zach Mettenberger (allegedly) left a nice tip for his server…(picture after the jump) Ha! That’s original. Ass. (H/t @ChrisRAllen on the Twitter)
LSU coach Les Miles holds a place somewhere near the top of the college coaching ranks. Ironically, though, he doesn’t exactly have a reputation as a master tactician.
Whatever Miles’ shortcomings may be in the Xs-and-Os department, they haven’t stopped the Tigers from kicking ass when given extra time to prepare for an opponent. Since taking over at LSU, The Hat's...

For Alabama and LSU, defense is more than just a vital part of the game.
It's who they are.
Both teams have dominated the defensive rankings in recent years, and this season is no exception. Top-ranked Alabama lost six starters off last year's team in the NFL draft - including three first-rounders - but the Crimson Tide still leads the nation in every major defensive category...
Just when you think you've seen any possible WTF fashion faux-pas you can in the SEC, another one pops up that takes things up a notch further than you could ever think possible. LSU quarterback Zack Mettenberger sat down to talk to reporters sporting a pair of multi-colored striped shoes. Pretty gnarly looking multi-colored striped shoes. (And not in the good way.)
Brandon SmithIt seems like forever since Tyrann Mathieu was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. It was less than 11 months ago. In that time, the former LSU safety has come to be known for his off-the-field troubles instead of his enormous talent and clever nickname. From winning the Chuck Bednarik Award for the nation’s best defensive player, to being dismissed from the football...
