Expelled NJ prep star commits to Colorado

Embattled N.J. prep star Yuri Wright has verbally committed to play for Jon Embree and the Colorado Buffaloes next season. Wright, a 4-star cornerback recruit, announced the decision today and is the second 4-star cornerback to commit to the Buffs within the last 24 hours. CU also gained a verbal commit from Kenneth Crawley a 4-star cornerback from Woodson HS in the Washington DC area. However, you may have heard Wright’s name for all of the wrong reasons. Earlier this month he was expelled from traditional football power Don Bosco Prep after graphic posts from his Twitter account were uncovered. Some of the posts on his page were sexually graphic and Don Bosco Prep, being a private Catholic school, would not put up with them so he was therefore expelled. Wright had narrowed down his four schools to Michigan, Notre Dame, Rutgers and Colorado. It was rumored that Michigan was his “dream destination” but once his tweets came to light Michigan stopped recruiting him. ...
