The first quarter of the 2012 Louisville football season is now in the books. This week we’ll be doing a position-by-position first quarter report card. Let’s start with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Quarterback 1st Quarter Grade = A There have been a lot of bright spots throughout the first three games of the season, but there is no question that the play of sophomore quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been the brightest. Bridgewater has played about as well as you could ask for. There was a lot of talk throughout the offseason about how Teddy had matured both physically and mentally, but I’d be lying if I said I expected this much of an improvement. Bridgewater’s numbers through the first three games are unreal. Although it’s still relatively early, Brigdewater has been mentioned as a potential Heisman dark horse.
