Defensive end Jason Worilds (6-1, 254 lbs.) was the first Virginia Tech Hokie to be selected in the 2010 NFL Draft. He was the 20th selection of the second round (52nd overall) and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Kam Chancellor was the next Hokies selected; taken with the second pick in the fifth round by the Seattle Seahawks. Seven picks later, Ed Wang went to the Buffalo Bills.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted a pair of Hokies in the last two rounds. The Bucs took punter Brent Bowden 3rd pick of the sixth round and then picked up Cody Grimm with the 3rd pick of the seventh round.
