Florida quarterback Tim Tebow was knocked out of tonight's game at Kentucky on what appeared to be a helmet-to-helmet hit. Tebow was blindsided by Kentucky linebacker Taylor Wyndham, who was unblocked on a blitz. As Tebow was falling to the turf, he appeared to get kicked in the head by one of his own linemen. The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner lay motionless on the turf for a few minutes, but eventually walked off the field under his own power. Florida kicked a field goal on the next snap. John Brantley replaced Tebow for the Gators' next offensive series. Tebow had already had an eventful day: He was one of several flu-ridden Gators who flew to the game on a chartered jet to avoid contact with their teammates. Tebow ran for two touchdowns and threw for another in leading Florida to a 31-0 first-quarter lead. The Gators were leading 31-7 at the time of the injury.
