Charlie Strong has landed another transfer from his former school. Former three-star safety Willie Bailey joins cornerback Adrian Bushell, tight end Gerald Christian, and receiver Robert Clark as former Gators who are leaving Gainesville for Louisville. The 6-2, 175-lb Bailey is originally from Hallandale, Florida and was rated the 33rd best safety nationally in the 2012 class by Scout.com. He left Florida in December and has reportedly already enrolled at UofL. This is a big addition in my opinion. Bailey has the size and physicality of a safety, but according to folks down in Florida he can cover as well so it would not be out of the question to see him line up at cornerback. If he can in fact play cornerback, having a 6-2 cornerback could pose problems for the receivers lining up opposite him, but we’ll let the Louisville coaches figure that out. Bailey must sit out per transfer rules, but will have three years of eligibility remaining.
