University of Louisville football has wrapped up arguably one of its best recruiting seasons in the history of the program.  It would be hard for even the average fan to not get extremely pumped up about the possibilities. Charlie Strong has received verbal commitments from three 4-stars, fourteen 3-stars, and three 2-stars. Head Coach Charlie Strong has said all along that the area’s he is concentrating the most on is the Offensive Line and the Linebacking Corp.  That is evident with the nine commitments he has received for the two positions. With two 4Star commits and two 3Star commits it appears that the Cardinals are making a case for LinebackerU.  If Strong and Defensive Coordinator Vance Bedford convert the defensive scheme to a 3-4 along with the departure of senior Dexter Heyman, these guys will have a legitimate shot at playing time. If 2010 commitment Gerod Holliman can find a way to make it to campus along with Devontre Parnell and Kevin Houchens coupled with the corp of...

Louisville 76 – Depaul 59: Depaul Day Is Real

A 17 point conference win is exactly what this team needed. We saw a lot of good things from this team tonight, but it may be a little premature to say that they’ve turned the corner. There are still a lot of things that have me concerned. Depaul isn’t a very good team, but winning by 17 without your leading scorer is pretty impressive. The senseless turnovers and major scoring...
