Former Michigan State running back Jehuu Caulcrick thought it would somehow be a good idea to chime in on Arian Foster’s comments about getting paid while playing for the University of Tennessee. Foster said that he “took money on the side” during his senior year while playing for the Volunteers.  He sat down for a four-hour interview for an upcoming documentary called Schooled: The Price of College Sports. Via Twitter, Caulcrick said that Foster’s admission shouldn’t be a surprise. via @JehuuCaulcrick Caulcrick played four years at Michigan State from 2004-2007. He finished his career with 532 carries for 2,395 yards and 39 yards. Most of his time was spent playing behind Javon Ringer.  Caulcrick played on the practice squads of the Jets, Buccaneers, 49ers and Bills before being added to the Bills active roster for a short time.  He has been out of the league since September 2011. It appears that someone has an ax to grind with his alma mater.  Is this Caulcrick trying to make himself relevant?  Is he trying to fit in with the cool kids?  Whatever way you slice it, there doesn’t seem to be a point to this statement other than to say “hey, look at me!” The NCAA generally has a four-year statute of limitations on allegations.  However, they can investigate further if the NCAA determines there are extenuating circumstances.
