Nearing the end of August the impending football season’s opening depth chart was released.  There was a fair amount of chatter about things like the absence of Andrew Johnson from the starting spot, Scott Radcliff starting over Eli Rogers and BJ Butler being reduced to third on the depth chart at defensive end.  The starting spot that may have drew some of the most chatter…is rarely talked about now more than halfway into the season. After Keith Brown having great spring and fall camps many expected to see him start that strongside linebacker spot.  Instead, it was junior George Durant.  “Who?”, was the original reaction by many.  To those of us who had attended some practices it was less the lack of recognition of Durant, but there was still an element of surprise; especially after the high praise that had been given to Keith Brown by the Cardinal coaching staff. Durant arrived to Louisville in 2010 as a walk-on, but was placed on scholarship at the end of the summer. Skip forward...
