Florida State's leading receiver, junior Rashad Greene, walked off the practice field on Monday afternoon with what appeared to be an injury to his left hand.
The exact nature and severity of the injury was not known, but a team trainer was holding Greene's hand up as he left the field.
"I have no idea," coach Jimbo Fisher said. "I'll see when we go inside."
Fisher talked to the media after the first of Florida State's two practices on Monday. He is not expected to talk to the media again until after Wednesday afternoon's scrimmage.
The Seminoles are already shorthanded at receiver after losing three senior backups in the past few months.
In June, Greg Dent was charged with sexual assault, a second-degree felony, and he is not able to play while his case is still pending. Willie Haulstead was declared academically ineligible when practice began and is no longer a member of the team.
