Florida Gators defensive back Loucheiz Purifoy became the 13th football player to get arrested under coach Will Muschamp when he was cited for riding in a car that contained marijuana on Sunday.Muschamp is reportedly aware of the incident.Purifoy was riding in the backseat of a blue Honda that was stopped for a right-of-way violation. Police found a small amount of marijuana in the car and Purifoy was cited. One person was seen throwing a cannibus cigarette out the window, another had residue on his pants according to the police officer. The baggie containing the marijuana was found in the middle of the front driver's and passenger's seat near the emergency break (2.5 grams). There were two other people in the car and all claimed the marijuana was not theirs. The charge is for first-degree misdemeanor for possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams), which could be tough to prove in court because of the denials. The junior-to-be is expected in court on Feb. 21 for his arraignment, according to court records.Purifoy's arrest marks the 15th by 13 different football players since Muschamp took over the head coaching job in January 2011.The most recent arrest came courtesy of offensive lineman Jessamen Dunker, who was handcuffed last month after allegedly driving a scooter that had been reported stolen. Dunker was also charged with a misdemeanor count of driving on a suspended license.Purifoy started 12 games as a sophomore for the Gators last season. He ranked fourth on the team with 51 tackles.Via USA TODAY
