What a difference a year can make for the Auburn Tigers. After a disappointing 3-9 record last year, which included a winless finish against SEC teams, Auburn has found itself back at near the top of the college ranks with a 9-1 record and ranked seventh overall.Georgia has been led by some great play at quarterback by Aaron Murray but are out of national title contention after some costly slip ups; the Vanderbilt game comes to mind, leaving them at 6-3 for the year. Here are the three things you need to know heading into what should be a great game of football between two very competitive schools.No. 1: Auburn will run the ball for forever and a dayThe Tigers are ranked third in the country with 320 running yards per game, behind only Oregon and Baylor. Who can blame them for running the ball a lot when they have Nick Marshall at quarterback and Tre Mason as their starting running back.Marshall leads SEC quarterbacks in rushing yards with a total of 734 and seven touchdowns; last week against Tennessee he ran for a career high 214 yards and two scores. Mason has been a threat all year with over 1,000 yards on the ground and 16 touchdowns. How the Georgia defense handles these two, especially on third down, will be crucial.No. 2: Murray will have to be flawless to keep up with Auburn's offenseIts safe to say that Auburn will put up a big total of points, this means Georgia's Murray will have to play smart and not give the ball away to try and keep the Auburn offense off the field for as long as possible and allow his own offense to put some points on the board. So far Murray has only had three games without an interception, adding this game to that tally would go heavily in Georgia's favor for the win. No. 3: Auburn MUST win this gameBecause who is Auburn facing next? Alabama thats who. The way Alabama is playing right now they look unbeatable, the only team that have beaten Auburn this year were LSU and Alabama destroyed them 38-17 last week.If Auburn loses to Georgia then have to face Alabama in a game which doesn't favor them, their chances of a national title game are slipping away faster than their running game through opposing defenses.
