After Auburn offensive lineman Chad Slade made a few eyebrow-raising statements about Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones, you had to know that someone would find a way to ask Jones how he felt about said statements…in case you missed em’, here’s what all the fuss is about: …“You’ve got to be able to get your hands on him, block him,” Slade said. “He’s a good player, but you can stop him. It’s not that hard. You’ve just got to go out there and make the calls, go out there and execute the calls and know that he’s probably going to be on the side where the tackle will be made. He’s the type of player who will be one of the impact players.” And Jones, true to his laid-back nature, didn’t offer much fuel to the fire in his response: I’m not the kind of for jaw-jacking,” Jones said. “What time we play? 6 o’clock Auburn time?
