Georgia tailback Ken Malcome has announced plans to transfer as he seeks increased playing time at another school. Malcome, a sophomore, left the team for one day in 2011 before changing his mind and returning to the team. He began the 2012 season as the starter but was soon passed on the depth chart by freshmen Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall. Malcome had 57 carries for 274 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games, including one start. Coach Mark Richt says he wishes Malcome ''nothing but the best'' and will assist in his search for a new school.

Georgia's Early NFL Entrants Rated

Did Georgia's underclassmen who declared for the NFL draft make the right decision? Georgia Bulldogs: Really, A Better Coaching Staff is What’s Needed?

I try real hard not to get into disputes with fans who don’t share my opinion on the direction of Georgia footbl. My philosophy is a simple: we can agree to disagree without all that nasty name-calling. Besides, this is a modest little sports blog, written by a woman who has done nothing more than profess her love for Georgia football…ad nauseum. I’ve never coached, managed...

Georgia Recruiting: When Mark Richt Speaks…

If you follow the recruiting chatter (or simply read this blog on a regular basis—thank you for that, by the way) then you know Shaq Wiggins has been a handful for the Georgia coaching staff lately. Even though the Sandy Creek High School defensive back has been on Georgia’s verbal commit list for quite some time, it was beginning to look a little sketchy as to whether he’d...
