Did Georgia's underclassmen who declared for the NFL draft make the right decision? College Football News' Pete Fiutak gives an estimate of their draft status: The rule of thumb for pro prospects is this: If your game relies purely on speed, come out. Every football player needs speed to some degree, but a receiver, running back and defensive back only has so many years of blazing wheels in them. Any slippage in that top gear, and you're out of the league. Running backs can only take so many shots and should come out as soon as humanly possible. Everyone else should stay in school unless they're certain to be taken in the top 50. With that in mind, here are the early entries with where they're projected to go. Kwame Geathers, DT GeorgiaProjected: 4th RoundGood or Bad Move? While he never enjoyed much of the spotlight, he turned into a decent interior precence into the backfield. At 6-5 and 355 pounds he's a massive body to stick on the inside of a line...

Georgia Bulldogs: Ken Malcome’s Transfer Hurts and Maybe Helps Georgia

This story should not come as a surprise to too many people as Ken Malcome has tussled with the idea of transferring once before, but this time his decision is sure to stick. Georgia Bulldogs: Jarvis Jones Signs With High-Powered Sports Agent

Former Georgia Bulldogs starting linebacker (man how it pains me to say the word “former” before his name) and fan favorite Jarvis Jones has chosen his representation for the 2012 NFL Draft and it will be Joel Segal of Lagardere Unlimited Sports Group. Segal is the president of Lagardere Unlimited Football and  will also represent Chris Rainey (Florida), Tom Compton (South Dakota...

Aaron Murray 2013 Heisman Candidate

ESPN's SEC Blog lists Murray as its 4th ranked SEC Heisman candidate, just ahead of Todd Gurley and behind AJ McCarron. 4. Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia: Murray decided to come back and give college one last try. That just means that he'll have a chance to break even more records. Georgia Bulldogs: Really, A Better Coaching Staff is What’s Needed?

I try real hard not to get into disputes with fans who don’t share my opinion on the direction of Georgia footbl. My philosophy is a simple: we can agree to disagree without all that nasty name-calling. Besides, this is a modest little sports blog, written by a woman who has done nothing more than profess her love for Georgia football…ad nauseum. I’ve never coached, managed...

Georgia Bulldogs: Dear Todd, Talk, Tweet, Do Something!

Unless you’re sleeping in a hammock on Mars, you’ve heard that Georgia Defensive Coordinator Todd Grantham has been targeted by new Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly to take over the same position for his staff. Grantham is apparently Kelly’s first choice because he wants the Eagles to move away from the 4-3 to a 3-4; Dan Quinn, current defensive coordinator for the Florida...
