The University of Louisville and head coach Charlie Strong have apparently made quite the impression on current football commitment DeAndre Herron. As recruits do, Herron was set to take the remainder of his official visits even after committing to the Cardinals back on July 12th. Well, it seems that what some have called a “Soft Verbal” commitment to Louisville has gotten a push toward a Solid Verbal. The massive 6’-5” 325lb 3-Star Offensive Guard has just about officially blown off visits to Pittsburg and Indiana.
DeAndre seems to be very committed to the Louisville program after expressing how hard it would be for any other school to make him reconsider his commitment. The stud O-lineman has developed a strong bond with two other future trenchman in Joe Manley and Sid Anvoots. He has mentioned that they speak almost every day and really have a brother type bond with each other. That bond will also make it difficult for any other program to make him reconsider his commitment.
