Crimson Tide HC Nick Saban pulled QB AJ McCarron after McCarron was nearly perfect, going 15 for 16 for 166 yards and 4 touchdowns, but his back up, Jr. QB Blake Sims was almost as flawless going 14 for 18 for 130 yards and a TD. The Tide had 7 different runners have at least one carry, as they rushed for 181 yards on 30 carries and a TD. Defensively they held Georgia State to 175 total yards (160 yards passing and 15 rushing) and got one interception.
