Found January 09, 2012 on Big Red Network:
The lines on the national championship game have varied. Early on, you'd see LSU favored by a point. Now, in a number of places you see the Crimson Tide favored by two or two and a half points. While the Tigers won a game in Tuscaloosa, they were outgained in a game that could not have been closer (or harder to watch). Neither team gained even 300 total yards or scored a touchdown. Alabama had the best scoring defense in the country this season, and LSU's was next best. When yards are this hard to come by, this game could easily be decided by the officials since calls on turnovers, interference, or holding could be enormous. Some people like the losing team to win a rematch, especially in a close game. See Wisconsin versus Michigan State. But the pick is LSU. Here's why. Fi...

Video: Tigers fan misspells "LSU"

Thanks to Tyler Williams for the video. The BCS Championship Game has already supplied us with some great humor. Watch the fan in the background of this video try to spell out LSU. I never knew spelling a three letter school name would be so difficult. I expect to see more things like this throughout the game. I don’t know if it can top the Georgia Dwags fan, but it could be close.

LSU Should Be Embarrassed By Their BCS Championship Game Performance

My eyes, they burn.  LSU should be embarrassed for the absolutely awful display of offense they showed in Monday’s BCS Championship Game.  Alabama dominated the Tigers in every facet of the game, winning the game 21-0.  They didn’t cross midfield until midway through the fourth quarter.  Getting first downs was an event.  Jordan Jefferson looked atrocious.  The...

Video: Bobby Hebert’s 48 Second Question to Les Miles

As promised last night, here is the video of Bobby Hebert’s long winded question to LSU head coach Les Miles after the BCS Championship Game.  The Tigers fell to the Alabama Crimson Tide 21-0 and Hebert was none too happy about it. I wonder what everyone there thought about this question.  Hebert isn’t real fond of keeping up with journalistic standards and this question...

No. 1 LSU right at home in Superdome - any dome

Jordan Jefferson remembers nearly every second of the last time he played in the Superdome. He was the starting quarterback for Destrehan High School, and like so many kids growing up in Louisiana, was awed to be playing in New Orleans' football palace. By the end of the night, he'd led his school to its first state championship in 34 years. ''I've been in the...

Alabama Tree Poisoner has Tickets, May Poison a Tiger

Beware Les Miles and all the LSU Tigers supporters in New Orleans, the next scariest sports fan in history is in town. Hide yo kids, hide yo mascots and school symbols. [AL].

Best Player in Country? Yes, Tyrann Mathieu

Surrounded by the sound of jazz bands in street parades, bars, restaurants, crazed fans and where the smell of Cajun food wafts through Bourbon Street, Tyrann Mathieu, who has tenderly become known as the “Honey Badger,” returns back to his native town. Born and raised in New Orleans, he has a chance to help lead No. 1 LSU to a win against Alabama in Monday night’s Allstate...

LSU Fans Having Trouble Finding Seats, As Members Of The Media Are Taking Their Seats

Super Bowl XLV (45) saw fans not being allowed into Cowboys Stadium because of unready seats. Now it appears that the 2012 National Championship Game, between LSU and Alabama, is also having a problem with seating the massive crowd, as LSU fans are coming across seats, which THEY'VE PAID FOR, being used by members of the media press.

No Longer the Starter, Jarrett Lee Played a Key Role in L.S.U.’s Year

The quarterback who started L.S.U.’s first nine games lost his job after struggling at Alabama.

Alabama defeats LSU for BCS National Championship

I hope you enjoyed your nap which was the BCS Championship this year. The Crimson Tide were outstanding defensively pitching a 21-0 shutout or shall we say the LSU Tigers was an absolute atrocity. I love ...
