Word is trickling out of Shreveport, Louisiana where bowl week officially kicks off in two hours and either Missouri or North Carolina will walk away with this broken trophy. Media types on the ground say that the Missouri mascot, Truman, has broken the trophy. @HarryPlumer is a Mizzou beat writer: Asked Truman if he broke the trophy. He nodded. Asked him what happened. Threw his paws in the air, then covered his eyes to mimic sobbing.

Winner takes all …you just have to dust up the imported crystal and glue it back together yourself.

Plumer reports he’s asking around to get a value for the trophy. Just remember this story if ESPN somehow has a replacement trophy handy. You’ll know it’s a fake.

  • So dang typical that the SEC childern are arguing who has the better toy . the saddest part is Mizzu is going to one of the worst conferences out there . The SEC children must of forgot that LSU didn't want to play a real team the year they got the BS trophy . THat's right you forgot that USC got the Championship and all you SEC cry babys were mad . Now lets move on here is why the BCS is truly BS lets look back to last year when in all rights Oregon and Stanford got screwed but its okay two SEC teams can repeat a boring BS title game . So all you better look over your shoulder next year because the PAC 12 wil be doing some SEC hunting . Mizzu good luck in the the biggest cheating conference out there did we forget about Auburn and SCAM NEWTON ?
  • that is the most stupid comment.look at the facts, they are there for all to see. now you can go back and play with mom.

Most insane INT you'll see this bowl season

During the Independence Bowl, an insane catch was made by a Mizzou Tiger Cornerback. The ball actually landed on the back of the UNC Tarheel Wide Receiver and stayed there motionless until another Tiger player was able to snag it. I challenge you to find a better interception than that.
