Irvin, Goode to compete at NFL Combine

The NFL has released a list of names invited to this years scouting combine, and two Mountaineers are included. Bruce Irvin and Najee Goode will be putting their skills, athleticism and mental toughness to test for all NFL coaches and General Managers. Irvin recorded 23 sacks in only two seasons at West Virginia. Known for his pass rushing ability off the line of scrimmage, Irvin projects by many as an outside linebacker. Goode, who just moved to middle linebacker this past spring, looks to improve on a strong 2011 season. Both Irvin and Goode were named First-Team all Big East this past season. The NFL combine will tack place Feb. 25-28.

West Virginia cancels Florida State game
