Nebraska has many different areas that they have to work on this off-season, but one of the most pressing needs is to fill the vacancy left by Carl Pelini. Bo has said that he has a few people in mind who could possibly fill that role.
The first reaction has been for John Papuchis to fill that role. As much as I do like him, I would say this is a bad decision. Papuchis has been fantastic at being the lead recruiter for Nebraska. He has also done a wonderful job of getting recruits on the phone and into their houses, but also having them come to Nebraska and tour the facilities.
Nebraska has a pretty small class so far this year, but they are quality recruits. They currently have 2 four star, and 5 three star recruits. However, they are in the running for many top recruits all over the board. Andrus Peat, a top offensive tackle is looking at Nebraska. His brother is currently on the team as a defensive tackle.
