Jah Reid OT Central Florida
Ht: 6’7″
Wt: 325
Strengths:
Elite size. A decent athlete considering his size. Quick feet. Strong lower body; looks very good slowing down bull rushers. Has the skills necessary to switch to guard if teams view him as a better fit there.
Weaknesses:
Not a dominant blocker. Even when going against smaller defenders he rarely finishes off his blocks; seems to lack that nasty streak that many great linemen have. Slow to react to delayed blitzes; doesn’t appear to have great field awareness. Probably limited to right tackle or guard in the pros.
Comments:
Reid’s size alone is enough to get him a look at the next level. Couple that with his decent athleticism and someone is likely to roll the dice on him in the mid rounds due to his upside. He needs work, but there’s no denying his potential.
