The one missing piece from Vance Bedford’s defense in 2012 is former cornerback Adrian Bushell. While Terell Floyd returns with a season of experience under his belt, Coach Bedford had an opening at the opposite cornerback position in 2013. Nearly three weeks into the fall camp, redshirt sophomore Jermaine Reve appears to have won the job. “At this time he’s our guy. He’s done a great job for us in camp he’s a solid player and he’s very smart,” Vance Bedford said following Thursday’s practice when asked about Reve. Reve made a smooth transition from safety to cornerback during the offseason.  “Jermaine Reve is a very smart football player,” fellow cornerback Terell Floyd says. “That switch from safety to corner is nothing for him. He’s one of those players who knows most of the spots on the field. So for Jermaine Reve, it’s easy for him.” As a redshirt freshman in 2012, Reve showed flashes of his big play making ability.
