The Tennessee Volunteers have lost starting quarterback Justin Worley for around four weeks due to torn ligaments in his right thumb. The injury occurred in the first half of Tennessee’s 45-10 loss against the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. According to a tweet by Jimmy Hyams of The Sports Animal in Knoxville, true freshman Josh Dobbs will get the start for the Vols: We’ve confirmed UT QB Justin Worley will be out about 4 weeks with torn ligaments in right thumb. QB Josh Dobbs will start v. Missouri Worley has thrown for over 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, but has also thrown eight interceptions. Losing your starting quarterback is never a good thing.
