Cleveland Sports 360:
How lucky is Urban Meyer to have a Kenny Guiton to step in off the bench that can win games just like he is the starting quarterback. For the second week in a row Guiton has shown he could be the guy in the absence of Braxton Miller. If I were Braxton Miller I would be doing everything I could to get back to playing football. Otherwise he could lose his starting job and he wouldn’t even be missed. Guiton has helped the Buckeyes win two in a row. He threw for 4 touchdowns and rushed for 92 yards to lead his Ohio State Buckeyes to a 52-34 win over Cal. The Buckeyes offense is looking good and Meyer still has some work to do to get his defense ready to play some of the tougher teams in the Big 10 this season. As long as the Buckeyes can continue to win, it doesn’t matter who the quarterback is. Both guys are equally important in the Buckeyes quest for a national championship. The fans are really enjoying the job Kenny Guiton is doing coming in off the bench to lead his Buckeyes to vict...

Multiple question’s surrounded the Ohio State Football team’s first road game of the season. Can Kenny Guiton adequately lead the offense? Will the secondary be able to keep up with the recently (and creatively) named “Bear Raid” offense? Can Jordan Hall continue to play at an All-American level?
The Buckeyes (3-0) answered all of these in their 52-34 victory over the Cal...
Powerful runs through the defense, deep passes down the field and playmakers excelling with the ball in space.
That is just the type of offense coach Urban Meyer has wanted since arriving at Ohio State last season. The fact that the Buckeyes did it without injured quarterback Braxton Miller and suspended running back Carlos Hyde was even more impressive.
Fifth-year senior Kenny...
It’s too soon to start calling Braxton Miller “Wally Pipp.” But senior quarterback Kenny Guiton has proven himself to be more than a backup. Guiton, making his first career start, played a very good game in leading the Ohio State to a mostly comfortable 52-34 victory in Berkeley.
Guiton threw for 276 yards and four touchdowns and also rushed for 92 yards in...
Last year with a healthy Braxton Miller in the lineup, the Cal Bears gave the Ohio State Buckeyes all they could handle, falling just short of upsetting the eventual undefeated team. This season, with Miller’s game status in question for the Buckeyes’ trip to California, Ohio State will need to put the Bears away much earlier if they hope to leave the west coast undefeated.
Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller indeed did not make the start at Cal. Getting the nod was senior Kenny Guiton, who once again put on a show completing 21 of 32 passes for 276 yards and four touchdowns along with no interceptions. He also added 92 yards rushing on 14 carries.
Ohio State would go on to romp Cal by winning 52-34. The game easily could have been one for Ohio State...
After his first career start, Ohio State captain and backup quarterback Kenny Guiton received some extraordinary news today: He’s the recipient of a national college player of the year award.

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer said senior RB Carlos Hyde will return as the Buckeyes continue the season Saturday vs. Florida A&M while calling quarterback Braxton Miller probable for the showdown with the Rattlers. Meyer also praised his offense for the showing vs. Cal in his weekly press availability.
The No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes cruised to another quick first quarter lead en route to a fast-paced 52-34 victory against California in Berkeley on Saturday night.
Backup quarterback Kenny Guiton, in his first-ever career start in place of the injured Braxton Miller, shined with 368 total yards and four touchdowns. His 90-yard touchdown pass to Devin Smith on OSU’s second play from...
Ohio State's Monday interview sessions are over, and BSB has some video of the conversations with Christian Bryant, Devin Smith and Kenny Guiton, who all talk about the win over Cal and look ahead to the game with Florida A&M.
