Ohio State linebacker Storm Klein spent much of the spring sidelined because of injuries.
Now the senior has something else that could keep him off the field.
Klein pleaded not guilty Saturday morning to two charges stemming from an incident the previous day. According to Franklin County Municipal Court records, Klein was arrested at his apartment on Mobile Drive in Columbus. He was charged with domestic violence and assault, both misdemeanors. Klein was represented by a public defender after spending the night in jail. He was released on his own recognizance and ordered to not have contact with the alleged victim, as well as to not have further acts of violence, not consume alcohol andor drugs nor possess a firearm.
A temporary protection order was also granted against Klein.
