If you looking for a place to bash the Klitschko brothers, you've come to the wrong site.

Sure, the Klitschkos aren't the best heavyweights ever. They're not menacing like Mike Tyson. They don't float and sting like Muhammad Ali. They're not the calm storm of Joe Louis.

But the Klitschkos are clearly the best heavyweights in the world right now. They have been since Lennox Lewis retired (one could argue that Vitali is why LL retired), and will be for the foreseeable future.

So why are the Klitschkos fighting cruiserweights in their next fights?

Okay, so I know I'm speaking about them as one entity, but aren't they the two-headed wrecking crew of the heavyweight division? Aren't they the best? And since they have vowed never to fight one another, aren't they the closest thing we have to THE champ?

Vitali Klitschko is on ESPN this weekend. Come 5 EST, Vitali will face off against former cruiserweight titlist Juan Carlos Gomez. Sure, Gomez has some wins at heavyweight, but his list of competitors isn't exaclty murders row (Sinan Samil Sam and Oliver McCall are his biggest wins).

And his brother is getting ready to face off against loudmouthed braggart David Haye. Really Wladmimir? You're the number one rated heavyweight in the world and you're going to fight someone who has only won one fight in the division? Should a win against Monte Barrett even count?!

In any even, I encourage to watch this Saturday. Vitali is a very good fighter, and sometimes I think he could have been an all time great if his knee hadn't given out. And, since it's on free tv for cable watchers (who doesn't have cable these days?) it is a chance for boxing fans to show advertisers they do care about boxing.

I definitely want to see big time boxing on ESPN in the future, don't you?
