Da Great White Hype:
After losing six straight to enter the All-Star Break, the Knicks have started the final 30 games on the right foot, downing the Spurs 112-107 in OT yesterday at the Garden.
And it was mostly because of Nate Robinson.
Fresh off the Slam Dunk Compitition victory, Krypto-Nate put the ball in the basket for 30 points and caressed 10 richochet's off the rim. More than that, he hit the clinching 15-footer in the 5th period after David Lee fouled out in regulation.
While Nate Robinson dazzles with his athletic ability, Lee, Chris Duhon and Wilson Chandler seemed poised to lead the Knicks back to the playoffs for the first time since you used your phone line to get on Netscape.
If the Knicks can close out games against good teams (15 of their remaining 30 games are against .500 or better squads), we could see Mike D'Antoni recieving many "Coach of the Year" award votes, and Nate Robinson regarded as one of the most electric and talented guards in the league.
