For the first time in the Charlie Strong era, I was not able to watch a game live from start to finish. Due to a wedding, I was only able to see the fourth quarter last night. Who gets married during football season, right?
Anyways, by the time I was able to tune in to the game and check my Twitter timeline, I realized that about 90% of the Tweets were fans showing frustration with the offensive play-calling. After re-watching the game in its entirety this morning, I must admit I can say that I share the feeling.
Louisville was able to outlast Houston 20-13, which is the most important thing, however I know I’m not alone in thinking that this team can play much better than they did last night. Even Charlie Strong said as much following the game.
Teddy Bridgewater completed 19-of-29 passes for over 203 yards. For the first time in 21-games, he didn’t throw a touchdown pass. Obviously, Teddy would have played a little better, but with that said, I didn’t thin...
