Louisville went to Fort Knox and all it got was this 'camaraderie'

At left is the jubilant Justin Burke, likely starting quarterback for Louisville, celebrating along with teammates during the Cardinals' weekend trip to Fort Knox. There the Cards forged esprit de corps by enduring portions of the typical boot camp regimen and fending off the inevitable siege mentality at the start of the third and possibly final season under Steve Kragthorpe: The drill that seemed to make the biggest impression on U of L's players was one in which they had to transport an injured team member across an open space by constructing a bridge and carrying him across.
