Sixth-ranked LSU and No. 20 Texas A&M don't have a lot in common. The Tigers (6-1, 2-1 Southeastern Conference) are known for their tremendous defense and the Aggies (5-1, 2-1) succeed with a prolific offense. They do share one thing this season: They have both lost to No. 3 Florida. When the teams meet on Saturday, they'll be out to prove they deserve to be talked about among the nation's best teams despite their losses to the Gators. A win will help keep pace with No. 1 Alabama and 15th-ranked Mississippi State in the SEC West. LSU linebacker Kevin Minter says losing to Florida was difficult, but it has given the team momentum to finish the season strong.

Video: LSU WR Kadron Boone’s diving, over-the-shoulder touchdown against Texas A&M

Tweet     #6 LSU left Kyle Field in College Station, TX with a 24-19 victory over #18 Texas A&M in large part because their defense forced five turnovers. Offensively the ground game did the majority of the work but quarterback Zach Mettenberger did have a touchdown pass, mostly because of the effort from wide [...]

LSU Tiger wide receiver Kadron Boone makes a spectacular catch

The LSU Tigers are on the road at Texas A&M and started the game slowly trailing 12 – 0 at the start of the 2nd quarter. The Tigers have since rebounded and one of the scoring drives involved this spectacular catch by Kadron Boone. This is easily the best throw LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger has made this game and possibly this season. What a spectacular grab! HT TheBigLead

Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel Is Really Hard To Tackle

If “escapability” is a word, then it seems an apt description of Manziel, who’s only a freshman and seems to possess that mythical SEC speed – just ask the LSU Tigers. Even though there’s no TD on this play, it’s utterly ridiculous that this does not result in at least a 10 yard loss. Hopefully nobody creates anything called Manzieling, the fact that broadcasters seemingly...

LSU defense confident it can contain Manziel

(Eds: Updates. With AP Photos.) By BRETT MARTEL AP Sports Writer Kevin Minter doesn't envision LSU's defense fretting over any quarterback, not even Texas A&M's explosive, headline-grabbing, dual-threat freshman, Johnny Manziel. Minter and LSU held Oregon in check last season. Just last week, the Tigers racked up four sacks against South Carolina's Connor Shaw...
